Series Synopsis

A documentary series featuring the individual stories of everyday Indigenous Australians who have a unique and inspirational story to tell.  These contemporary documentaries highlight how specific moments in time can change an individual’s journey, making them the person that they are today.


Episode Synopsis

On a fateful night in 2006, 26 year old mother of two had her life crushed in a head on collision with a drunk driver tearing down a dirt road.  The accident was horrific and Elizika lost two precious things in her life that night, Bevaanee her beautiful ten week old baby girl and her own ability to walk.  Eight years later Elizika shares her story about surviving such a devastating ordeal. It’s a story of courage, resilience and strength from a young woman who has beaten the odds and dreams of walking again.
